   For a seminar on global education for reporters to explore issues which affect more extensive teaching and learning about world cultures and regions in the United States.

   Second year of funding to build a virtual community to help teachers use the resources of the Indiana in the World Web site.

   To support the International Workshop on Teaching and Learning for a Sustainable World.

   For further development of curriculum-specific Internet-based professional development courses in global education. More

   Third year of funding for printing, distribution and dissemination of a K-12 curriculum guide focused on grade-specific teaching ideas with a global perspective to enhance and enrich the state curriculum framework.

   To fund a mini-grant program for global education projects in member elementary schools, and share results through the organization's print and on-line publications and presentations at the annual conference.

    First year of funding of a three-year project to develop an online course in global education for practicing K-12 teachers. The initial year focuses on modules aimed at middle and high school teachers of social studies and language arts.
